3 Lessons Learned: Volunteering

What Are The Benefits Of Having Christian Volunteers in A Nation?

Volunteering is not for everybody, and this is why it means a few It is hard for one to believe that someone can work without expecting any cash in return. It is very OK for people to work without pay and that is why there are a lot of Christian volunteers in the world. The reason why there are so many Christian volunteers is that they seek to help people get out of their helpless situations. Rick VanWagner pastor always preach about volunteering services. He pleads with people to do charity work to the needy too. Note that Christian volunteer ship involves engaging in a lot of trying activities. For instance, you may be required to wash dish in a children’s home, collect garbage on the street, help rescue people in an accident among others. Volunteer ship is not an easy task, and therefore one is expected to have humility to survive here.

One thing that you will benefit with after volunteering is that you will enjoy traveling to different places. Volunteer-ship can involve travelling to other nation in a particular purpose. Christian volunteers have opportunities to tour the world as they offer help to others. On the same note, they get to interact with other Christians and share their experience in the volunteerism activity. This way, they can strengthen each other in faith and encourage themselves to continue with the excellent work. It is nice to have new experience and run away from the usual day to day activities and experience new things in new environments too.

Volunteering does not just come from nowhere but instead it is the work of the Holy Ghost to manifest in Christians and convince them to volunteer. As they read the word of God in the book of Isaiah 6:8, they feel it is their role to respond to the word of God so that He can send them. They devote their time to providing services to others in pursuit of obeying and fulfilling the word of God. Lots of people who don’t believe in God find it hard to help others because they think it is hard but this is not the case to Christians. Christians rely on the help from God, and that is why they find it easy to help others any time. One cannot be forced to volunteer since it is a personal decision.

Have you ever asked yourself why people in the countries which there are few believers are involved in volunteering. It has never raised the alarm for you. One has to let go of their pride to succeed in volunteer-ship. This will be done in terms of time, finances as well energy.
